OUR HERITAGE

An editorial chronicle of why we weave ancient stories into the modern armor of the streets.

"We don't design temporary fashion trends. We weave Egyptian heritage into the permanent, heavyweight armor of contemporary streetwear."
— THE CREATIVE DIRECTIVE, CAIRO

THE GENESIS

Threadz was born in the bustling, layered streets of Cairo, a metropolis where minarets and millennia-old walls stand side-by-side with raw concrete skyscrapers and electric urban expression. Our founders set out with a singular, high-end directive: to rescue ancient Egyptian iconography from kitsch and elevate it into high-contrast, premium, minimal streetwear fits.

Every glyph, scarab, and sacred coordinate printed on our garments is meticulously re-imagined by local Egyptian visual artists, ensuring it remains historically authentic yet undeniably striking in a modern world.

THE COTTON STANDARD

Egypt's long-staple cotton is recognized globally as the absolute gold standard for luxury apparel. Threadz goes straight to the source, working in close partnership with historic spinning mills in Lower Egypt. We utilize a custom, ultra-dense 450GSM loopback terry and heavy single-jersey cotton to give our hoodies and tees an structure that holds its silhouette perfectly over decades.

Our embroidery is spun locally in specialized workshops in old Cairo, preserving traditional chain-stitch weight and thickness while incorporating modern metallic and deep obsidian threads.
